Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated IT Support Engineer for a 12-month contract based at our San Diego, CA office. This role is focused on providing essential, hands-on technical support to our local employees and ensuring the stability of our office's IT environment. The ideal candidate is a reliable problem-solver who can operate effectively with minimal supervision and manage daily IT tasks. This is a W-2 contract position with a duration of one year, with a possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.

• Location: San Diego, CA (100% Onsite)

• Contract Duration: 12 Months

• Pay Rate: Up to $35/hour

Scope of Work & Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for onsite IT support, addressing hardware (desktops, laptops, printers), software, and network connectivity issues.

• Manage and resolve support requests submitted through the IT ticketing system, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.

• Perform user account administration, including creation, modification, and password resets in Active Directory and Office 365.

• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot company-standard hardware and software for new and existing employees.

• Assist in maintaining the local network infrastructure and managing IT asset inventory.

• Document technical procedures and contribute to our knowledge base.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hands-on IT support or help desk role.

• Proven experience troubleshooting Windows and/or macOS operating systems.

• Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and common business applications.

• Basic understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, WiFi).

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese is strongly preferred.
