Chinese Bilingual IT Engineer - San Diego, CA
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated IT Support Engineer for a 12-month contract based at our San Diego, CA office. This role is focused on providing essential, hands-on technical support to our local employees and ensuring the stability of our office's IT environment. The ideal candidate is a reliable problem-solver who can operate effectively with minimal supervision and manage daily IT tasks. This is a W-2 contract position with a duration of one year, with a possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.
Location: San Diego, CA (100% Onsite)
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate: Up to $35/hour
Scope of Work & Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for onsite IT support, addressing hardware (desktops, laptops, printers), software, and network connectivity issues.
Manage and resolve support requests submitted through the IT ticketing system, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.
Perform user account administration, including creation, modification, and password resets in Active Directory and Office 365.
Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot company-standard hardware and software for new and existing employees.
Assist in maintaining the local network infrastructure and managing IT asset inventory.
Document technical procedures and contribute to our knowledge base.
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hands-on IT support or help desk role.
Proven experience troubleshooting Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and common business applications.
Basic understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, WiFi).
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese is strongly preferred.

This is a contract position. The selected individual will be employed through a third-party staffing agency on a W-2 basis. This role is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, or a 401(k) plan.
